When Fernandinho Maranhense came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the ANARQUIA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernandinho Maranhense couldn't finish the play. 22 minutes into the game, São Wilson's Silvinho Moraes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jan-Pieter De Vos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 24th match minute, São Wilson was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edison Mauriz to maneuver through the defense. São Wilson's Shi Feng Yun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sílvio Luís de Salles in the 25th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Paulinho MacLaren made the kick off in the second half. Silvinho Moraes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Jan-Pieter De Vos made a huge save. The supporters of ANARQUIA booed when São Wilson was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Garcia didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the São Wilson defense, Sílvio Luís de Salles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Shi Feng Yun. The São Wilson fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Shi Feng Yun should have stopped the shot. Paulinho MacLaren scored 1-3 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan-Pieter De Vos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jan-Pieter De Vos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The ANARQUIA fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. São Wilson were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
