But to his dismay, Mazinho Gol quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Sílvio Luís Rossi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mazinho Gol, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes into the game, Mazinho Gol cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Sílvio Luís Rossi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A sloppy throw-in by Valério de Medeiros in the 26th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by CA Brasileiros Juniors's Nico Mendonça. After a defensive mix-up in LUCABE F.C.'s zone, Mazinho Gol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sílvio Luís Rossi came out of the goal and Mazinho Gol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When LUCABE F.C.'s Léo Vargas in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CA Brasileiros Juniors's goalie prevented a goal. After 34 played minutes CA Brasileiros Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Odd. 37 minutes into the match, CA Brasileiros Juniors's goalkeeper Luís Fernando Amaral had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastian Unai. Luís Fernando Amaral stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Léo Vargas's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute Léo Vargas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Fernando Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the game, Sebastian Unai recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luís Fernando Amaral. Sebastian Unai showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mazinho Gol to make the kick off. If Mazinho Gol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54th minute, Sebastian Unai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nico Mendonça in the 70th minute of play forced LUCABE F.C.'s goalkeeper Sílvio Luís Rossi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CA Brasileiros Juniors made a substitution. Fellipe Loyola replaced Mazinho Gol. CA Brasileiros Juniors's David Leite was substituted for Glenn Ottaway. 76 minutes into the match, CA Brasileiros Juniors's Fellipe Loyola sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sílvio Luís Rossi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 2-2 became the score in the 82nd minute when Hieronim Kaczor elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Luís Fernando Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Unai in the 87th minute of play. A hard shot 91 in the game by David Leite from a close distance when the talented Sílvio Luís Rossi managed to make a qualified save. LUCABE F.C.'s players were relieved. In the 95th minute, CA Brasileiros Juniors's Fellipe Loyola dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3.
