LUCABE F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 7 minutes into the match, LUCABE F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Murilo Leal came free, but Sílvio Luís Rossi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cesinha de Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Léo Vargas in the 9th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Igarau defense, Léo Vargas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cesinha de Azevedo. The Igarau fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cesinha de Azevedo should have stopped the shot. Igarau's Cesinha de Azevedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Igarau from getting a goal against them. Henrique Vieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio Luís Rossi having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by 彭榕傲 in the 20th minute of play forced LUCABE F.C.'s goalkeeper Sílvio Luís Rossi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sílvio Luís Rossi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 彭榕傲 in the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, one of Igarau:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Igarau. Igarau:s Cesinha de Azevedo showed great skill when he stopped Matías Bezerra:s penalty. Matías Bezerra took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cesinha de Azevedo. Cesinha de Azevedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Sílvio Luís Rossi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Murilo Leal, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Igarau's goalkeeper Cesinha de Azevedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cacá Rocha. Cacá Rocha made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 39thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Cesinha de Azevedo would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. A collision led to Igarau getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Sverre Dvergsdal hit a great ball. When Cacá Rocha fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LUCABE F.C.'s protests and gave Cacá Rocha a yellow card for diving instead. After 43 played minutes LUCABE F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Cacá Rocha. 46 minutes into the game, Matías Bezerra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LUCABE F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Igarau the free kick. After a rather tough play, LUCABE F.C.'s Matías Bezerra got a free kick in the 46th minute. Henrique Vieira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Léo Vargas to make the kick off.
