In the 12th minute, Sydney Rosa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Catone fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sydney Rosa in the 15th minute of play forced Better Call Saul's goalkeeper José Pedro Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matías Vides kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 18thth minute of the game Sydney Rosa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Better Call Saul's José Pedro Neto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alfredão França recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edmílson Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. José Pedro Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José Pedro Neto came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Catone's Edmílson Neves. But to his dismay, Edmílson Neves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Sydney Rosa took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Pedro Neto. José Pedro Neto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Sydney Rosa succeeded in the game's 36th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-4. 40 minutes into the game, Catone's Sydney Rosa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. José Pedro Neto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. In the 43rd minute Edmílson Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Pedro Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cauã Netto made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Edmílson Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Catone's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmílson Neves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Pedro Neto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Better Call Saul's zone, Edmílson Neves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Pedro Neto came out of the goal and Edmílson Neves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 61 in the game by Edmílson Neves from a close distance when the talented José Pedro Neto managed to make a qualified save. Better Call Saul's players were relieved. Sydney Rosa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but José Pedro Neto made a huge save. The supporters of Catone booed when Better Call Saul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agnaldo da Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eliézer Urbano came free with the goalkeeper in the 92nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and José Pedro Neto could save by the left post. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Eliézer Urbano took a quick shot and it went in 0-9 without a chance for José Pedro Neto to make any attempt to save it.
