When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristiano Tinoco made a kick off. A collision led to Sambaqui FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sambaqui FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 93rd minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Hélder Breckenfeld, was totally fooled by Sampaio Corrêa FC - FDFDF's Eugênio Neves, who 96 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Sambaqui FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
