In the 8th minute of the match, Fernando Moreno got a very nice opportunity to score, but Falcão Leal was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 10 minutes, Carlos Augusto Ortiz made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Arrozal FC's Perivaldo Saraiva tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Fernando Moreno sped through Amatari SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Falcão Leal. Fernando Moreno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Falcão Leal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arrozal FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Amatari SC the free kick. After 45 played minutes Arrozal FC got a freekick which was hit by Umberto Barros. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The wind increased when Erubiel Farias made the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes of play, Arrozal FC's Erubiel Farias made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Falcão Leal was left in no man's land by his defense there! Falcão Leal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fernando Moreno went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. The Amatari SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-2.
