Perivaldo Saraiva came out of the goal and Manoel Souza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manoel Souza in the 30th minute of play forced Arrozal FC's goalkeeper Perivaldo Saraiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hélder Breckenfeld made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erubiel Farias in the 33rd minute of play. Erubiel Farias didn't have the luck on his side when he, from a short distance, got a opportunity for a shot on goal in the 34th minute. The shot missed the goal on the right side and Erubiel Farias ran dejectedly back to his position. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Cristiano Tinoco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sambaqui FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristiano Tinoco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Perivaldo Saraiva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Perivaldo Saraiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Tinoco in the 42nd minute of play. Perivaldo Saraiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Tinoco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristiano Tinoco in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Perivaldo Saraiva saved Arrozal FC from getting behind. 76 minutes into the match, Sambaqui FC's goal looked a bit too open when Umberto Barros came free, but Hélder Breckenfeld reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
