When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nelson Luz made a kick off. A collision led to Futebol Club Neto getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Olavo Massa hit a great ball. Basílio Macedo kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. The supporters of Independente F.C. Limeira booed when Futebol Club Neto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias de Alcântara didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Matheus França managed to get in a good position for a shot. Independente F.C. Limeira's supporters rose to their feet, but Matheus França was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mazinho de Almeida breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mazinho de Almeida was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
