In the 19th minute of the match, Krzysztof Piczak tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hélder Pernambucano saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Recai Keçeli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rafael Campidelis's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. The audience was convinced that Behzat Ertüze's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Recai Keçeli was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Hélder Pernambucano came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by VASCO DA GAMA's Krzysztof Piczak. But to his dismay, Krzysztof Piczak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 48th minute of the match Nυм Gαинα Nαđα FC got a corner. VASCO DA GAMA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Abelardo Pernambucano ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Nυм Gαинα Nαđα FC's Emílio Nóbrega getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when 徐远翀 made the kick off in the second half. Hélder Pernambucano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 徐远翀's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Recai Keçeli yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Hélder Pernambucano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 徐远翀 in the 64th minute of play. After 71 played minutes Nυм Gαинα Nαđα FC got a freekick which was hit by Ali Han.
