Seating: 1776, VIP seats: 154) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Benedito Nascimento took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Paxiubinha's zone, Alexandre Velasco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maicon Oliveira came out of the goal and Alexandre Velasco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Maicon Oliveira managed to avoid a goal in the 5thth minute, when Anjos's Alexandre Velasco fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Charles Araújo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedito Nascimento in the 7th minute of play forced Anjos's goalkeeper Hadrian Faul to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Paxiubinha's Tomás Rosa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hadrian Faul narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by Anjos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Benedito Nascimento was slow to take the kick. During this time Paxiubinha's players had a chance to rest. Paxiubinha's Benedito Nascimento got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 14 minutes into the match, Paxiubinha's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandre Velasco came free, but Maicon Oliveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benedito Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Hadrian Faul tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Charles Araújo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 18th minute. Anjos's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Edmílson Quadros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Timoteo Muelas kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Paxiubinha's Benedito Nascimento tried to score from far away in the 23rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Luiz Fábio Oliveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexandre Velasco scored 1-0 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maicon Oliveira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Paxiubinha defense, Luiz Fábio Oliveira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maicon Oliveira. The Paxiubinha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maicon Oliveira should have stopped the shot. 37 minutes into the match, Tomás Rosa notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Anjos's Hadrian Faul. Hadrian Faul was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 39 minutes, Tomás Rosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paxiubinha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomás Rosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Diogo Gaúcho fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Anjos's protests and gave Diogo Gaúcho a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Paxiubinha booed when Anjos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diogo Gaúcho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edmílson Quadros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 42 played minutes Paxiubinha got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Rosa. In the 46th minute Benedito Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hadrian Faul saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alexandre Velasco to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Velasco in the 53rd minute of play forced Paxiubinha's goalkeeper Maicon Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 57 minutes, Henrique Reis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Anjos and the Paxiubinha players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 57 played minutes Anjos got a freekick which was hit by Henrique Reis. Alexandre Velasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maicon Oliveira having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Paxiubinha's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandre Velasco came free, but Maicon Oliveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Velasco in the 64th minute of play forced Paxiubinha's goalkeeper Maicon Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paxiubinha's Maicon Oliveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charles Araújo in the 67th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Alcântara in the 68th minute of play forced Anjos's goalkeeper Hadrian Faul to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benedito Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Hadrian Faul tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hadrian Faul showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmílson Quadros in the 75th minute of the match. Benedito Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hadrian Faul having to interfere. After 81 minutes of play, Anjos's Luiz Fábio Oliveira made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maicon Oliveira was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 90th minute, Timoteo Muelas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hadrian Faul showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmílson Quadros in the 91st minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Anjos's goal looked a bit too open when Edmílson Quadros came free, but Hadrian Faul reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Anjos's goalkeeper Hadrian Faul had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benedito Nascimento. Anjos's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
