The supporters of CE LAJEADENSE RS booed when Agro Imortal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Çağrı Torehan didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to CE LAJEADENSE RS getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Rodrigo Ely hit a great ball. Fernando Courtois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Udo Nigula in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caetano Saad in the 34th minute of play forced Agro Imortal's goalkeeper Fernando Courtois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cacá Valle's late challenge caught a CE LAJEADENSE RS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cacá Valle helped the player get up and apologised. Cacá Valle kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After 40 played minutes Agro Imortal got a freekick which was hit by Emílio Teixeira. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zhuo Chao Chuan made a kick off. Fernando Courtois showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zhuo Chao Chuan, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Agro Imortal's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leo Iigo was slow to take the kick. During this time CE LAJEADENSE RS's players had a chance to rest. The throw-in from Renato Quadros in the 68th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Agro Imortal's Oswaldo Bueno. Fernando Courtois showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Udo Nigula, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dennis Bergkamp in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christian Orlan saved CE LAJEADENSE RS from getting behind. Christian Orlan came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Agro Imortal's Dennis Bergkamp. But to his dismay, Dennis Bergkamp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. In the 100th minute Dennis Bergkamp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Orlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The CE LAJEADENSE RS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Agro Imortal were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
