The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Maicon Oliveira had great luck who in the 4thth minute grab hold of the ball when Zhuo Chao Chuan from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 6th minute of the match CE LAJEADENSE RS got a corner. Paxiubinha's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leo Iigo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Maicon Oliveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zhuo Chao Chuan in the 8th minute of the match. When Benedito Nascimento came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Paxiubinha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benedito Nascimento couldn't finish the play. 22 minutes into the game, Emil Fărcășan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Maicon Oliveira. Emil Fărcășan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 26 minutes into the match, Zhuo Chao Chuan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Maicon Oliveira, 2-0. After 28 minutes of play, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Leo Iigo made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maicon Oliveira was left in no man's land by his defense there! 33 minutes into the match, Caetano Saad had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maicon Oliveira. Paxiubinha's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Caetano Saad was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Christian Orlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedito Nascimento in the 36th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, CE LAJEADENSE RS's goal looked a bit too open when Benedito Nascimento came free, but Christian Orlan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Leo Iigo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maicon Oliveira. Paxiubinha's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leo Iigo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. In the 45th minute, Udo Nigula ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maicon Oliveira was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

CE LAJEADENSE RS's Renato Quadros was substituted for Jorge Pires. Christian Orlan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomás Rosa in the 54th minute. In the 58th minute Udo Nigula shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maicon Oliveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Paxiubinha defense, Udo Nigula kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maicon Oliveira. The Paxiubinha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maicon Oliveira should have stopped the shot. Udo Nigula scored 8-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maicon Oliveira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Maicon Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Udo Nigula in the 66th minute of play. After some careless play in the Paxiubinha defense, Zhuo Chao Chuan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maicon Oliveira. The Paxiubinha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maicon Oliveira should have stopped the shot. Anísio Koehler took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maicon Oliveira. Maicon Oliveira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-0. Maicon Oliveira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bater Palma went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 14-0 was the resulting score. After having played for 88 minutes, Zhuo Chao Chuan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CE LAJEADENSE RS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zhuo Chao Chuan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Felipe Alcântara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Orlan having to interfere. Maicon Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Fărcășan in the 94th minute of play. Emil Fărcășan charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emil Fărcășan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Emil Fărcășan got a free kick in the 97th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. CE LAJEADENSE RS fully deserved thier win.
