When André Luiz Leite fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paulista F.C's protests and gave André Luiz Leite a yellow card for diving instead. André Luiz Leite kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After 31 minutes of play, Paulista F.C's Dagoberto Berger made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maicon Prestes was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Paulista F.C's goalkeeper Andrézinho Sergipano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Maicon Prestes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dagoberto Berger in the 44th minute of the match. César Secco kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Dagoberto Berger made the kick off in the second half. Maicon Prestes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dagoberto Berger in the 51st minute of play.
