With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wesley Safadão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 12th minute, one of CLUBE PANTERA NEGRA:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for CLUBE PANTERA NEGRA. In the 13th minute there was a penalty for CR Framengo. Augusto Di Cola stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Wesley Safadão. 0-1. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Nunez Rico successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Dalmai Sainz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, Gildo Varela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 25 in the game by Téo Tróia from a close distance when the talented Nunez Rico managed to make a qualified save. CR Framengo's players were relieved. Wesley Safadão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Di Cola in the 26th minute of play. In the 30th minute Augusto Di Cola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wesley Safadão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CR Framengo's Nunez Rico proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save CR Framengo from getting a goal against them. Augusto Di Cola scored 0-2 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wesley Safadão, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 43rd minute Augusto Di Cola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wesley Safadão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eliézer Queiroz charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eliézer Queiroz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of CR Framengo booed when CLUBE PANTERA NEGRA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliézer Queiroz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dalmai Sainz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wesley Safadão having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Augusto Di Cola in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wesley Safadão saved CLUBE PANTERA NEGRA from getting behind. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Téo Tróia to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, one of CR Framengo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for CR Framengo. Wesley Safadão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dalmai Sainz in the 59th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, CR Framengo's Wesley Safadão threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dalmai Sainz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Wesley Safadão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmai Sainz in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd minute Dalmai Sainz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wesley Safadão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Téo Tróia came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the CLUBE PANTERA NEGRA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Téo Tróia couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the CR Framengo defense, Eusébio Varela kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nunez Rico. The CR Framengo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nunez Rico should have stopped the shot. In the 78th match minute, CLUBE PANTERA NEGRA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duarte Galvão to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute, CLUBE PANTERA NEGRA's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Augusto Di Cola fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Cesinha Tróia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Wesley Safadão made a huge save. In the 94th minute, Dalmai Sainz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wesley Safadão was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-5. A collision led to CLUBE PANTERA NEGRA getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Téo Tróia hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, CR Framengo's Wesley Safadão threw himself towards the right post 99 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dalmai Sainz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the match was over CR Framengo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than CLUBE PANTERA NEGRA throughout the match.
