With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlinhos Perez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 8 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ypiranga SC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mehis Kruusamäe was slow to take the kick. During this time Diamonds FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 8th match minute, Diamonds FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustaquio Sandaili to maneuver through the defense. Nildo Miranda's late challenge caught a Ypiranga SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nildo Miranda helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ypiranga SC booed when Diamonds FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nildo Miranda didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute, Esat Çeka ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlinhos Perez was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Esat Çeka who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Carlinhos Perez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 19th minute, Ypiranga SC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Shah Tan fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a little luck, Ypiranga SC's Carlinhos Perez got control of the ball when Shah Tan tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Ypiranga SC defense, Shah Tan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlinhos Perez. The Ypiranga SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlinhos Perez should have stopped the shot. In the 63rd minute, Esat Çeka left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Diamonds FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Carlinhos Perez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Esat Çeka's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Robinho Bezerra kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Carlinhos Perez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shah Tan in the 88th minute of play. Diamonds FC's Shah Tan got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonas Albuquerque hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Esat Çeka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Carlinhos Perez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Léo Trancoso during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Ypiranga SC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Léo Trancoso hit a great ball. Diamonds FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
