Qu Jun Fei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Wambasther Barthez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 6th minute of the match Bola Murcha got a corner. Lacothengo de Futiboloca's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Qu Jun Fei ran over to the corner to take the kick. Bola Murcha's Qu Jun Fei was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Wambasther Barthez in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Wambasther Barthez came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Bola Murcha's Cirilo Etxekopar. But to his dismay, Cirilo Etxekopar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 16 minutes into the match, Lacothengo de Futiboloca's goal looked a bit too open when Yulian Fedun came free, but Wambasther Barthez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wambasther Barthez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Qu Jun Fei, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Cirilo Etxekopar scored 0-3 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wambasther Barthez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Bola Murcha booed when Lacothengo de Futiboloca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Pirani didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cirilo Etxekopar in the 25th minute of play forced Lacothengo de Futiboloca's goalkeeper Wambasther Barthez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teodosio Aguilera struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Ivan Bobrov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lacothengo de Futiboloca. In the 29th minute Fred Furlan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wambasther Barthez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Lacothengo de Futiboloca's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Furlan came free, but Wambasther Barthez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivan Bobrov made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Fausto Leal sent off a good shot on target. In the 40th minute Cirilo Etxekopar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wambasther Barthez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute, Falcão de Andrade ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wambasther Barthez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Falcão de Andrade was the one to do the kick off. Wambasther Barthez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Qu Jun Fei in the 53rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Cirilo Etxekopar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wambasther Barthez. That made the score 0-6 in the 56 minute of play. In the 64th match minute, Bola Murcha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remigio Gilabert to maneuver through the defense. Wambasther Barthez acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 68th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Qu Jun Fei. The audience thought a goal was coming when Falcão de Andrade got free with Wambasther Barthez in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cirilo Etxekopar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wambasther Barthez having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Cirilo Etxekopar made a precise shot to the right of Wambasther Barthez. Lacothengo de Futiboloca's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. Gino Monteiro kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After 90 minutes, Peneios Montxo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lacothengo de Futiboloca and the Bola Murcha players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Lacothengo de Futiboloca's Peneios Montxo got a free kick in the 90th minute. When Valdir Pernambucano fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lacothengo de Futiboloca's protests and gave Valdir Pernambucano a yellow card for diving instead. After 95 minutes of play, Bola Murcha's Cirilo Etxekopar made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wambasther Barthez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bola Murcha's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
