After a rather tough play, Independente FC's Cahyo Rantung got a free kick in the 2nd minute. With a little luck, Independente FC's Marcelo Gröhe got control of the ball when Dino Nogueira tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 4th match minute, Independente FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raí Prestes to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th match minute, Carlo Carra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 石光瑜 to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernando Lucas in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Akay Salur saved Carlo Carra from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Carlo Carra's zone, Nilson Duarte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Akay Salur came out of the goal and Nilson Duarte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 14 minutes into the game, Independente FC's Fernando Lucas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Akay Salur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Independente FC's Marcelo Gröhe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Independente FC from getting a goal against them. After 24th play minutes Fernando Lucas shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Akay Salur and just under the crossbar into goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 27th minute of the game. One of Carlo Carra:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Independente FC:s goal. In the 30th minute Nilson Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Akay Salur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Akay Salur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raí Prestes, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. When Independente FC's Fernando Lucas in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Carlo Carra's goalie prevented a goal. Hortêncio Meirelles kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 杜光默 helped the player get up and apologised. After 38 played minutes Carlo Carra got a freekick which was hit by 杜光默. Raí Prestes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd match minute, Carlo Carra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guaberto Lamberto to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Lucas in the 44th minute of play forced Carlo Carra's goalkeeper Akay Salur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute Cahyo Rantung shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Akay Salur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Carlo Carra players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Independente FC were winning 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fernando Lucas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match Independente FC got a corner. Carlo Carra's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nilson Duarte ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Independente FC's Nilson Duarte to fire away a dangerous shot which Akay Salur despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Akay Salur was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Raí Prestes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 55 minute of play. When Carlo Carra's Dino Nogueira in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Carlo Carra's Akay Salur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Lucas in the 64th minute of play. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Nilson Duarte sped through Carlo Carra's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Akay Salur. 68 minutes into the game, Independente FC's Nilson Duarte nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Akay Salur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. In the 75th minute 杜光默 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Gröhe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Carlo Carra's goalkeeper Akay Salur, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Akay Salur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernando Lucas's shot from short distance in the 94th minute.
