Gatinhos Comunistas's Adrian Nunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldo Simão in the 25th minute of play. Arlindo Rossi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilbert Apelquist in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute Jimeno Henric shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Nunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st match minute, Gatinhos Comunistas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Secco to maneuver through the defense.
