After the first half Lunáticos were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wilian Lopez to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilian Lopez in the 53rd minute of play forced Manchester United's goalkeeper Olivér Pápai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lunáticos's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
