Ismael Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nico Lopes in the 9th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Carlo Carra's goal looked a bit too open when Radamel Aguero came free, but Akay Salur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Carlo Carra's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Medeiros came free, but Akay Salur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th play minute Elias Medeiros came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Akay Salur. 2-0. Akay Salur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Goodwin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the match, Carlo Carra's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Goodwin came free, but Akay Salur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Radamel Aguero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Akay Salur made a huge save. Santiago Salcedo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Akay Salur firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 22nd minute, one of Carlo Carra:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Carlo Carra. Akay Salur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radamel Aguero in the 26th minute of play. Radamel Aguero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Akay Salur made a huge save. Carlo Carra's Akay Salur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Carlo Carra from getting a goal against them. 31 minutes into the game, Flores da Cunha - RS's Radamel Aguero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Akay Salur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Santiago Salcedo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Akay Salur having to make a save. 36 minutes into the match, Flores da Cunha - RS's goal looked a bit too open when Zeca Magalhães came free, but Ismael Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Zeca Magalhães put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ismael Mendes. In the 41st minute Zeca Magalhães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Mendes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adalberto Severo in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ismael Mendes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Guaberto Lamberto might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ismael Mendes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guaberto Lamberto ran back to his position shaking his head. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Radamel Aguero made a kick off. Elias Medeiros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 53rd minute Radamel Aguero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Akay Salur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Akay Salur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Goodwin in the 54th minute of the match. Carlo Carra's Akay Salur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Goodwin in the 55th minute of play. Nico Lopes hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Akay Salur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Medeiros in the 63rd minute of the match. Akay Salur came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Flores da Cunha - RS's Elias Medeiros. But to his dismay, Elias Medeiros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Adalberto Severo hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. 71 minutes into the match, Zeca Magalhães had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ismael Mendes. Flores da Cunha - RS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zeca Magalhães was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. Narciso Ferraz came free with the goalkeeper in the 74th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ismael Mendes could save by the left post. After 75 played minutes Carlo Carra's Zeca Magalhães stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Ismael Mendes stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing Flores da Cunha - RS of the goal. Akay Salur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-2. After 88 played minutes Flores da Cunha - RS got a freekick which was hit by Emerson Fittipaldi. Carlo Carra's Guaberto Lamberto got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Narciso Ferraz kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Akay Salur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Radamel Aguero's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Akay Salur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Goodwin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlo Carra's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
