Valdir Pérez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Álvaro Lima in the 3rd minute of the match. Valdir Pérez made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Álvaro Lima sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Alice booed when União Verde FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Pereira didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ademir Guia in the 9th minute of play forced Alice's goalkeeper Magno Maia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute of the match União Verde FC got a corner. Alice's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gil Paiva ran over to the corner to take the kick. Gil Paiva made a great header on União Verde FC's corner, it was just that Alice's Magno Maia managed to reach the ball for a save. Álvaro Lima's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valdir Pérez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Raphael Lira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in União Verde FC's zone, Álvaro Lima stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valdir Pérez came out of the goal and Álvaro Lima tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th match minute, União Verde FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Pereira to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Álvaro Lima got free with Valdir Pérez in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 22nd minute, Raphael Lira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alice fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 24th minute, Raphael Lira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valdir Pérez made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Raphael Lira sent off a good shot on target. Álvaro Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdir Pérez having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Álvaro Lima reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Valdir Pérez. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 45th minute, Álvaro Lima got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when La 李义凌 got free with Valdir Pérez in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Laércio Damião to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Raphael Lira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdir Pérez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valdir Pérez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raphael Lira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valdir Pérez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Álvaro Lima went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Álvaro Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdir Pérez having to interfere. 77 minutes into the game, Álvaro Lima cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Valdir Pérez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Raphael Lira's late challenge caught a União Verde FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raphael Lira helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of União Verde FC booed when Alice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raphael Lira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute, Laércio Damião hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raphael Lira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valdir Pérez having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Álvaro Lima in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valdir Pérez saved União Verde FC from getting behind. When the referee ended the match the Alice players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
