In the 11th match minute, Fireball Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gil Magalhães to maneuver through the defense. Ilie Grecescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Giuseppe Falcão in the 13th minute. Monster Billy EC's Aquilino Gaxan quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Cauã Ribeiro, made in the 16th minute of the game. In the 21st minute, Cauã Ribeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Giuseppe Falcão hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute Tiaguinho Cavalcante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Begley McWillie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Pereira in the 28th minute of play forced Monster Billy EC's goalkeeper Begley McWillie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute of the match Fireball Esporte Clube got a corner. Monster Billy EC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Naldo Schmidt ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Naldo Schmidt got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Begley McWillie quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Begley McWillie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gil Magalhães in the 35th minute of the match. Begley McWillie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Pereira in the 39th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Cauã Ribeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Monster Billy EC's Lauro Braga got a free kick in the 45th minute. Monster Billy EC's Begley McWillie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Naldo Schmidt in the 46th minute of play. In the 48th minute Fireball Esporte Clube were awarded a corner. Naldo Schmidt went to the cornerflag to take it. Naldo Schmidt made a great header on Fireball Esporte Clube's corner, it was just that Monster Billy EC's Begley McWillie managed to reach the ball for a save. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After 58 played minutes Monster Billy EC got a freekick which was hit by Giuseppe Falcão. Begley McWillie made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gil Magalhães in the 60th minute. 61 minutes into the game, Aquilino Gaxan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Monster Billy EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fireball Esporte Clube the free kick. Gil Magalhães could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Begley McWillie made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gil Magalhães in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Begley McWillie prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Begley McWillie stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gil Magalhães's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gil Magalhães got free with Begley McWillie in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gil Magalhães succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-1 in the 66th playminute. Enio Vasconcelos charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Cauã Ribeiro got his second yellow card in the match during the 76th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
