Alice's supporters crossed their fingers, but Álvaro Lima was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Goito came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Alice's Álvaro Lima. But to his dismay, Álvaro Lima quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The supporters of Manguaça FC booed when Alice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. La 李义凌 didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th match minute, Alice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by La 李义凌 to maneuver through the defense. Raphael Lira succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 18th playminute. Magno Maia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matías Novaes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manguaça FC's Daniel Goito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Manguaça FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Álvaro Lima in the 39th minute of play forced Manguaça FC's goalkeeper Daniel Goito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute, La 李义凌 made a precise shot to the right of Daniel Goito. Manguaça FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Daniel Goito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raphael Lira in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Álvaro Lima made a kick off. If La 李义凌 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Alice's zone, Nando Dionísio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Magno Maia came out of the goal and Nando Dionísio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Álvaro Lima might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Daniel Goito. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Álvaro Lima ran back to his position shaking his head. Manguaça FC's Sílvio Lago got his second yellow card of the match in the 69th minute. The referee ordered Sílvio Lago off the ground. In the 74th match minute, Manguaça FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geraldo Santana to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Goito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raphael Lira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Álvaro Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Goito having to interfere. After 82 minutes, Gilson Paraibano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alice and the Manguaça FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 82nd minute, one of Alice:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Alice. Magno Maia had in the 84thth minute some difficulties stopping Cristiano Valladares's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 85 minutes, Raphael Lira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alice and the Manguaça FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Alice's Raphael Lira got a free kick in the 85th minute. Daniel Goito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raphael Lira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Manguaça FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Matías Novaes hit a great ball. Raphael Lira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Goito having to interfere. Manguaça FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
