Daniel Goito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dagoberto Velasco in the 11th minute of the match. Christian Clemencin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daniel Goito having to make a save. 16 minutes into the match, Dagoberto Velasco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daniel Goito. Manguaça FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dagoberto Velasco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Matías Novaes charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matías Novaes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Manguaça FC's Matías Novaes got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute of the match Celso Osoro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Daniel Goito skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Cearense in the 23rd minute of play forced Itália's goalkeeper Rodriguinho Motta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Manguaça FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Rodriguinho Motta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matías Novaes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enrique Cearense got free with Rodriguinho Motta in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Itália's Rodriguinho Motta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Itália from getting a goal against them. After 42 played minutes Itália got a freekick which was hit by Beolagh Cambuquira. In the 43rd minute, Nando Dionísio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nando Dionísio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

But to his dismay, Victor da Silva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Matías Novaes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Itália's Daniel Goito threw himself towards the right post 74 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dagoberto Velasco, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 75th minute of the match Nando Dionísio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rodriguinho Motta showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 76th minute, Enrique Cearense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Goito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dagoberto Velasco in the 79th minute. Manguaça FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Itália the free kick. A collision led to Manguaça FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Hernani Carioca hit a great ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Manguaça FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
