Erivaldo Teixeira was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 9 minutes into the match. Hílton do Valle had in the 10thth minute some difficulties stopping Luiz Gustavo de Mendonça's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Luiz Gustavo de Mendonça had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hílton do Valle. Esporte Clube Italva's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luiz Gustavo de Mendonça was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Mathias Pontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Cordeiro in the 13th minute of play. Hílton do Valle made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Luizão Ramalho sent off a good shot on target. Mathias Pontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hílton Travassos in the 20th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Hílton Travassos notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Os Predadores FC's Mathias Pontes. Mathias Pontes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 25 minutes into the game, Hílton Travassos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Mathias Pontes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurício Macedo in the 29th minute of play forced Os Predadores FC's goalkeeper Mathias Pontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hílton Travassos in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mathias Pontes saved Os Predadores FC from getting behind. Luizão Ramalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hílton do Valle having to interfere. Mathias Pontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Cordeiro in the 48th minute of the match.

Mathias Pontes came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Esporte Clube Italva's Cipriano Cordeiro. But to his dismay, Cipriano Cordeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After having played for 60 minutes, Luizão Ramalho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Os Predadores FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luizão Ramalho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Maurício Macedo came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Esporte Clube Italva fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maurício Macedo couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Os Predadores FC's Eliseu Vaz got a free kick in the 65th minute. After 65 minutes, Maurício Macedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Esporte Clube Italva and the Os Predadores FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 66 played minutes Esporte Clube Italva got a freekick which was hit by Maurício Macedo. After 68 minutes of play, Esporte Clube Italva's Cipriano Cordeiro made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mathias Pontes was left in no man's land by his defense there! A hard shot 71 in the game by Cipriano Cordeiro from a close distance when the talented Mathias Pontes managed to make a qualified save. Os Predadores FC's players were relieved. Mathias Pontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Cordeiro in the 72nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cipriano Cordeiro got free with Mathias Pontes in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mathias Pontes made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Hílton Travassos sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Esporte Clube Italva booed when Os Predadores FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaltino Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Os Predadores FC's Mathias Pontes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Os Predadores FC from getting a goal against them. In the 83rd minute, Cipriano Cordeiro made a precise shot to the right of Mathias Pontes. Os Predadores FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luizão Ramalho in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hílton do Valle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 93rd minute, Luizão Ramalho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hílton do Valle was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-5. Esporte Clube Italva's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
