With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eric Luican prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Escurial FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Habib Al Dosery scored to the left of an out of position Öztürk Peşrev, making the score, 2-0. With a little luck, Escurial FC's Öztürk Peşrev got control of the ball when Habib Al Dosery tried to sneak it across the goal line. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Escurial FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Habib Al Dosery was slow to take the kick. During this time Cosmópolis Futebol Clube's players had a chance to rest. After 29 minutes, Laerte Meira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Escurial FC and the Cosmópolis Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th match minute, Escurial FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laerte Meira to maneuver through the defense. Öztürk Peşrev didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matias Zanette went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 33 minutes into the match, Escurial FC's goalkeeper Öztürk Peşrev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Habib Al Dosery. Eric Luican took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cosmópolis Futebol Clube's Habib Al Dosery got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Habib Al Dosery to strike the kick off in the second half.
