Felicio EC's Lambis Kastanas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hortêncio Arruda in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, Silas Caro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Felicio EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave São José City - FSCMZ the free kick. The supporters of São José City - FSCMZ booed when Felicio EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silas Caro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lambis Kastanas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulisses Pires in the 38th minute of play. Baltazar Camargo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lambis Kastanas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Silas Caro took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Reginaldo Bueno. Reginaldo Bueno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Felicio EC's zone, Ulisses Pires stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lambis Kastanas came out of the goal and Ulisses Pires tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ciro Toledo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lambis Kastanas came out and tried to block the shot, but Ciro Toledo slotted it home off the left post making it 4-1 in the 84th minute. Ulisses Pires could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Lambis Kastanas made a huge save. Reginaldo Bueno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frédson Branco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes into the match, Felicio EC's goal looked a bit too open when Hortêncio Arruda came free, but Lambis Kastanas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Felicio EC's João Paulo Furlan got a free kick in the 97th minute. Many of São José City - FSCMZ's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. São José City - FSCMZ may have spent more time on the ball, but Felicio EC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
