In the 15th minute Club Del Gallo were awarded a corner. Válbson Matos went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Válbson Matos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this 谢枫海 quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 17th minute of the match, Ulisses Britto tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Remigiusz Tylenda saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 19th minute, Club Del Gallo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Hermínio Cosme fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The supporters of Blue Mountain State booed when Club Del Gallo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jānis Rozentāls didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermínio Cosme in the 25th minute of play forced Club Del Gallo's goalkeeper Remigiusz Tylenda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hermínio Cosme stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Club Del Gallo defense, Ulisses Britto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Remigiusz Tylenda. The Club Del Gallo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Remigiusz Tylenda should have stopped the shot. In the 58th match minute, Club Del Gallo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mattias Wennerberg to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the match, Club Del Gallo's Mattias Wennerberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that 谢枫海 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Remigiusz Tylenda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermínio Cosme in the 85th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Club Del Gallo's goal looked a bit too open when Aníbal Mello came free, but Remigiusz Tylenda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Blue Mountain State fully deserved thier win.
