Délio Galvão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Genaro Aragones's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. 8 minutes into the match, São José City - FSCMZ's Genaro Aragones sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Délio Galvão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hélio Rosado hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedito Paes in the 60th minute of play forced Vao Eesporte Clube's goalkeeper Délio Galvão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute Vao Eesporte Clube were awarded a corner. Conrado Paraibano went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Conrado Paraibano almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but São José City - FSCMZ's George Buffon did a great save. Délio Galvão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genaro Aragones in the 73rd minute of play. Genaro Aragones sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vao Eesporte Clube's Délio Galvão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Genaro Aragones in the 74th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Genaro Aragones in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Délio Galvão saved Vao Eesporte Clube from getting behind. After 84 played minutes São José City - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Benedito Paes. Pedro Cordarin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but George Buffon made a huge save. A collision led to Vao Eesporte Clube getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Ignacio Olando hit a great ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Vao Eesporte Clube players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for São José City - FSCMZ.
