Spectators: 7716 (Terracing: 5788, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 154) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomás Senna kicked off to start the match. Reinaldo de Alcântara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 2nd minute of the match, but Mazinho Gaúcho made a huge save. Adam Encuțescu scored 0-2 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Germano Moraes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 9 minutes, Tomás Senna made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Cascavel's Mazinho Gaúcho tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 12thth minute of the game Amadeu Quintal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mundial EC's Germano Moraes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 14 played minutes Cascavel got a freekick which was hit by Giovanni Castro. Germano Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Encuțescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adam Encuțescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cascavel's Adam Encuțescu got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Germano Moraes didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Cascavel's Boudewijn De Mijer shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-3 in the ordered_time% minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boudewijn De Mijer in the 27th minute of play forced Mundial EC's goalkeeper Germano Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Murilo de Almeida made in the 33rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Erik de Alcântara immediately put the ball in play. If Erik de Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Egídio França recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 38th match minute, Cascavel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filip Milan to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute, Tomás Senna fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Mazinho Gaúcho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Senna in the 39th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adam Encuțescu to make the kick off. Tomás Senna kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Cascavel's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Senna came free, but Mazinho Gaúcho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Mundial EC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Faustão Alvarenga hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Mundial EC defense, Adam Encuțescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Germano Moraes. The Mundial EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Germano Moraes should have stopped the shot. After 67 played minutes Mundial EC got a freekick which was hit by Egídio França. Germano Moraes acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 69th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Pedro Luiz das Neves. Mazinho Gaúcho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reinaldo de Alcântara in the 72nd minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Mundial EC's goalkeeper Germano Moraes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adam Encuțescu. Mundial EC's Germano Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Encuțescu in the 80th minute of play. A collision led to Mundial EC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Erik de Alcântara hit a great ball. When the final whistle sounded Cascavel left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Mundial EC.
