Kabelo FC's Romário Lima got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adam Encuțescu got free with Eliézer Sergipano in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Romário Lima hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The Kabelo FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cascavel were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
