Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Guilherme Wisnewski started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Claudinho Abreu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guilherme Wisnewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Slavo FC were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after EC Caucaia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dominik Mnich took the corner. In the 7th minute, Washington Lopes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Otávio Sanches made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vânderson Borges in the 8th minute. In the 10th match minute, EC Caucaia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Torres to maneuver through the defense. After 13 played minutes Slavo FC got a freekick which was hit by Clóvis Pinheiro. After 18 played minutes EC Caucaia got a freekick which was hit by Aníbal Aparecido. In the 21st minute, Dominik Mnich left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Slavo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 31st minute, Guilherme Wisnewski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claudinho Abreu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Jardel Ribeiro scored 0-3 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Claudinho Abreu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Slavo FC fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Slavo FC's Jardel Ribeiro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 44 minutes into the match, Guilherme Wisnewski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Claudinho Abreu. EC Caucaia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guilherme Wisnewski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vânderson Borges was the one to do the kick off. After 59 played minutes Slavo FC got a freekick which was hit by Edu Queiroz. In the 61st minute Guilherme Wisnewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinho Abreu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudinho Abreu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guilherme Wisnewski in the 63rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clóvis Pinheiro in the 65th minute of play forced EC Caucaia's goalkeeper Claudinho Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jardel Ribeiro came free with the goalkeeper in the 67th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Claudinho Abreu could save by the left post. 69 minutes into the game, Diego Quadros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. EC Caucaia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Slavo FC the free kick. Diego Quadros kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Aníbal Aparecido hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. EC Caucaia's Claudinho Abreu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save EC Caucaia from getting a goal against them. Jardel Ribeiros short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Claudinho Abreu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jardel Ribeiro in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Claudinho Abreu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Dominik Mnich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute, Jardel Ribeiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claudinho Abreu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. In the 83rd minute Guilherme Wisnewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinho Abreu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. EC Caucaia's Claudinho Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guilherme Wisnewski in the 85th minute of play. Claudinho Abreu came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Slavo FC's Jardel Ribeiro. But to his dismay, Jardel Ribeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Otávio Sanches showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Madureira in the 91st minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Slavo FC's Guilherme Wisnewski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8.
