In the 14thth minute of the game Berkant Canel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FORÇA JOVEM F.C's Juan Pirani was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ruy Brito charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ruy Brito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Breno de Barros took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rodrigo Amorim. Clube União Popular's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Clube União Popular getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Berkant Canel hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, Rodrigo Amorim successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some careless play in the FORÇA JOVEM F.C defense, Berkant Canel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juan Pirani. The FORÇA JOVEM F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juan Pirani should have stopped the shot. After 25 played minutes FORÇA JOVEM F.C got a freekick which was hit by Guga Batista. 30 minutes into the match, Clube União Popular's goal looked a bit too open when Ademar Severo came free, but Rodrigo Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 31 minutes of play Clube União Popular's Ruy Brito was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 31 played minutes Clube União Popular got a freekick which was hit by Ruy Brito. 32 minutes into the match, Clube União Popular's goalkeeper Rodrigo Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ademar Severo. 40 minutes into the match, Berkant Canel notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of FORÇA JOVEM F.C's Juan Pirani. Juan Pirani was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Berkant Canel in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juan Pirani saved FORÇA JOVEM F.C from getting behind. The Clube União Popular fans' excitement grew in the 46th match minute when Clube União Popular's Berkant Canel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The FORÇA JOVEM F.C players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Clube União Popular were winning 1-5.

After 52 played minutes Clube União Popular got a freekick which was hit by Andrézinho Simões. After 53 played minutes, FORÇA JOVEM F.C's Alberto Vianna shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rodrigo Amorim came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FORÇA JOVEM F.C reached it. If Berkant Canel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Berkant Canel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 61 minutes, Berkant Canel made it 1-6 with a short kick to the right side. FORÇA JOVEM F.C's Juan Pirani tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ademar Severo hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. With 72 minutes on the clock, Yngve Kristiansson commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Clube União Popular played a much better game than FORÇA JOVEM F.C and deserved their victory. The FORÇA JOVEM F.C players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
