Rodrigo Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wanderson de Toledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Clube União Popular getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Jerônimo Fantini hit a great ball. Rodrigo Amorim was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Wanderson de Toledo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 12 minute of play. Luiz Fabiano Gomes took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodrigo Amorim. Rodrigo Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Berkant Canel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Pedro Guedes having to interfere. 21 minutes into the game, Berkant Canel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Clube União Popular's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FRIENDS CITY the free kick. The supporters of FRIENDS CITY booed when Clube União Popular was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berkant Canel didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luiz Fabiano Gomes got free with Rodrigo Amorim in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 25 minutes into the match, Clube União Popular's Jerônimo Fantini sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that João Pedro Guedes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rodrigo Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wanderson de Toledo in the 28th minute of the match. Wanderson de Toledo scored 4-0 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rodrigo Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 34th minute of the match, Wanderson de Toledo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rodrigo Amorim saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 37 minutes into the match, Rafa Saldanha notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Clube União Popular's Rodrigo Amorim. Rodrigo Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wanderson de Toledo was the one to do the kick off. Berkant Canel struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. João Pedro Guedes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clube União Popular. After some careless play in the Clube União Popular defense, Wanderson de Toledo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodrigo Amorim. The Clube União Popular fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodrigo Amorim should have stopped the shot. After 55 minutes of play, FRIENDS CITY's Wanderson de Toledo made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodrigo Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 59th minute, Luiz Fabiano Gomes made a precise shot to the right of Rodrigo Amorim. Clube União Popular's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. FRIENDS CITY's João Pedro Guedes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save FRIENDS CITY from getting a goal against them. Berkant Canel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. João Pedro Guedes came out and tried to block the shot, but Berkant Canel slotted it home off the left post making it 8-1 in the 66th minute. In the 71st minute Jerônimo Fantini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Pedro Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FRIENDS CITY's Wágner Prado was substituted for Léo Leite. In the 81stth minute of the game Luiz Fabiano Gomes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Clube União Popular's Rodrigo Amorim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 81 minutes in the game, Luiz Fabiano Gomes dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 87th minute, Clube União Popular's Frederico de Moraes seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Frederico de Moraes the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Clube União Popular protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Frederico de Moraes had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 88 played minutes Clube União Popular got a freekick which was hit by Frederico de Moraes. Rodrigo Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wanderson de Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Rodrigo Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wanderson de Toledo in the 95th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the FRIENDS CITY players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
