João Pedro Guedes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sidney Gonçalves in the 17th minute of play. Eliézer Sergipano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wanderson de Toledo in the 21st minute of the match. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Luiz Fabiano Gomes sped through Kabelo FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eliézer Sergipano. In the 34th minute, Wanderson de Toledo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eliézer Sergipano was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Eliézer Sergipano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Fabiano Gomes, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. FRIENDS CITY's Wanderson de Toledo got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 42 minutes into the match, Kabelo FC's Cristóvão Dracena sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that João Pedro Guedes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kabelo FC's Cafu Martins was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but João Pedro Guedes in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 45 minutes into the match, FRIENDS CITY's goal looked a bit too open when Sidney Gonçalves came free, but João Pedro Guedes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

After having played for 68 minutes, Luiz Fabiano Gomes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FRIENDS CITY's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Fabiano Gomes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kabelo FC's Cristóvão Dracena got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Kabelo FC's Ján Bednařík got a free kick in the 73rd minute. If Luiz Fabiano Gomes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristóvão Dracena in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck João Pedro Guedes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 91 played minutes, FRIENDS CITY's Rafa Saldanha shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eliézer Sergipano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FRIENDS CITY reached it. In the 93rd minute Cristóvão Dracena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Pedro Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristóvão Dracena in the 94th minute of play forced FRIENDS CITY's goalkeeper João Pedro Guedes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Kabelo FC's Marconi Coutinho got a free kick in the 95th minute. When the match was over FRIENDS CITY could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Kabelo FC throughout the match.
