After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Franz Beckenbauer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Milanis E.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Franz Beckenbauer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wiliam Castro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With an all-out effort, Milanis E.C.'s Wiliam Castro threw himself towards the right post 93 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Magno da Costa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a defensive mix-up in Empocado's zone, Magno da Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wiliam Castro came out of the goal and Magno da Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Milanis E.C. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
