The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Vito de Moraes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vladimir Meira was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Txeru Anievas short, quick shot in the 7thth minute got Celestino Gipuzkoa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 9 played minutes Sibéria FC got a freekick which was hit by Cléber Teixeira. After having played for 10 minutes, José Paulo de Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Complexo do PJ's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Paulo de Brito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 15 minutes into the match, Txeru Anieva notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Sibéria FC's Celestino Gipuzkoa. Celestino Gipuzkoa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 17th minute, Aírton Velasco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the game, Otávio Maia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Complexo do PJ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sibéria FC the free kick. 19 minutes into the game, one of Complexo do PJ:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 20th minute, Luiz Gustavo Santos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vladimir Meira was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 23 minutes into the match, José Paulo de Brito notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Sibéria FC's Celestino Gipuzkoa. Celestino Gipuzkoa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Celestino Gipuzkoa was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and José Paulo de Brito capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. José Paulo de Brito really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. In the 29th minute, Guilherme de Carvalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sibéria FC's Celestino Gipuzkoa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Sibéria FC from getting a goal against them. When José Cavalcante fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sibéria FC's protests and gave José Cavalcante a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Complexo do PJ booed when Sibéria FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Cavalcante didn't get a good kick on the ball. 34 minutes in the game, José Paulo de Brito fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Celestino Gipuzkoa having to interfere. After 37 played minutes Complexo do PJ got a freekick which was hit by Otávio Maia. Guilherme de Carvalho hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Vladimir Meira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vito de Moraes in the 48th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Txeru Anieva made a kick off. 60 minutes into the match, Complexo do PJ's José Paulo de Brito sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Celestino Gipuzkoa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Celestino Gipuzkoa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Txeru Anieva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. José Paulo de Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celestino Gipuzkoa having to interfere. After some careless play in the Sibéria FC defense, José Paulo de Brito kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Celestino Gipuzkoa. The Sibéria FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celestino Gipuzkoa should have stopped the shot. Vladimir Meira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vito de Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Eugênio Fernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Celestino Gipuzkoa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Txeru Anieva's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. After 86 played minutes Complexo do PJ got a freekick which was hit by Eugênio Fernandez. Sibéria FC made a substitution. Régis Goiano replaced Vito de Moraes. After 87 played minutes Complexo do PJ got a freekick which was hit by Eugênio Fernandez. Complexo do PJ's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Régis Goiano 89 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 7-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Paulo de Brito in the 94th minute of play forced Sibéria FC's goalkeeper Celestino Gipuzkoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Txeru Anieva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Celestino Gipuzkoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Complexo do PJ fully deserved thier win.
