In the 6thth minute of the game Su Shu Zhen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Universidade Celestial FC's Gaston Sessa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Su Shu Zhen scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gaston Sessa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Romulo Viator showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baltazar Alagoano, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Dionysos Pezos had several of the OTTO FC - FSCMZ's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 12 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Romulo Viator as he didn't even see the shot coming. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaká Carneiro in the 16th minute of play forced Universidade Celestial FC's goalkeeper Gaston Sessa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enrico Carvalho struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Romulo Viator didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Universidade Celestial FC. Gaston Sessa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaká Carneiro in the 19th minute of the match. Gaston Sessa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Su Shu Zhen in the 22nd minute of play. Gaston Sessa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kaká Carneiro went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Baltazar Alagoano might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Romulo Viator. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Baltazar Alagoano ran back to his position shaking his head. Gaston Sessa came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Kaká Carneiro. But to his dismay, Kaká Carneiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. The supporters of OTTO FC - FSCMZ booed when Universidade Celestial FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Campidelis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 43 played minutes Universidade Celestial FC got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Campidelis. In the 46th minute Su Shu Zhen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaston Sessa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Universidade Celestial FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. OTTO FC - FSCMZ were winning 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kaká Carneiro was the one to do the kick off. Gaston Sessa was out of position in the 67 minute of play, and Ren Xiang Xun capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ren Xiang Xun really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. Eugênio Negri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
