Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Catugi FC's Carlos Alberto Soares started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Pimenta FC! In the 5th minute there was a penalty for Catugi FC. Erik Sanches stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Elder Moura. 0-1. In the 8th minute, Carlos Alberto Soares made a precise shot to the right of Elder Moura. Pimenta FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Elder Moura came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Catugi FC's Carlos Alberto Soares. But to his dismay, Carlos Alberto Soares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Elder Moura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto de Amaral in the 16th minute of the match. If Walmir Pombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Elder Moura didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Alberto Soares went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Carlos Alberto Soares scored 0-5 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elder Moura, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Walmir Pombal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elder Moura was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Elder Moura stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Alberto Soares's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. In the 27thth minute of the game Carlos Alberto Soares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pimenta FC's Elder Moura was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tiago Gabriel Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Reko Nybacka managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when Pimenta FC's Ademir Barros fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 33rd minute Carlos Alberto Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elder Moura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Alberto Soares in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elder Moura prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carlos Alberto Soares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Evaristo de Senna fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pimenta FC's protests and gave Evaristo de Senna a yellow card for diving instead. Evaristo de Senna hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Elder Moura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Sanches in the 42nd minute of the match. Elder Moura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walmir Pombal, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Reko Nybacka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando de Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tiago Gabriel Machado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benjamim Alvarenga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elder Moura having to make a save. Agnaldo Brodel struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Elder Moura didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Catugi FC. In the 60th minute, Evaristo de Senna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pimenta FC's Elder Moura proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Pimenta FC from getting a goal against them. After 65 played minutes Agnaldo Brodel rounded Pimenta FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-7. Walmir Pombals short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Elder Moura to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Agnaldo Brodel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elder Moura having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Catugi FC's Walmir Pombal ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Elder Moura. Elder Moura yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. 78 minutes into the game, Catugi FC's Walmir Pombal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elder Moura made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. After 81 minutes, Walmir Pombal made it 0-10 with a short kick to the right side. Pimenta FC's Elder Moura tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Catugi FC's Agnaldo Brodel was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 84th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Agnaldo Brodel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Elder Moura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Jonathan Penha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Agnaldo Brodel in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elder Moura prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 94 minutes, Jonathan Penha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pimenta FC and the Catugi FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th match minute, Pimenta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Penha to maneuver through the defense. Catugi FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
