After some careless play in the C.A Gryffindor defense, Oséias Nascimento kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cássio Corinth. The C.A Gryffindor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cássio Corinth should have stopped the shot. C. were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Brian Montenegro made the kick off in the second half. C.A Gryffindor's Sarracino Marsano quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Enio Arruda, made in the 51st minute of the game. Cássio Corinth made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Oséias Nascimento sent off a good shot on target. Varadouro F. C.'s Silvestre Oro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brian Montenegro in the 54th minute of play.
