Franklin Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Apelqvist in the 8th minute of the match. Cauã Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Machado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Igor Magalhães hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 13th match minute, Real Mente Burro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by George Apelqvist to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of A.D Garotos do Vale booed when Real Mente Burro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Marques didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cauã Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nelson Penha in the 17th minute of play. Franklin Montenegro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of George Apelqvist's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. In the 76th minute, Oswald Winnepennincx left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Mente Burro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After some careless play in the A.D Garotos do Vale defense, George Apelqvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Franklin Montenegro. The A.D Garotos do Vale fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Franklin Montenegro should have stopped the shot. Real Mente Burro made a substitution. Matías Arantes replaced George Apelqvist. Oswald Winnepennincx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Franklin Montenegro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
