Léo Vergílio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro Perez in the 41st minute of play. After some careless play in the APOCALIPSE defense, Cristiano Rosado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Léo Vergílio. The APOCALIPSE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Léo Vergílio should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-8 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Matías Catarinense to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Sandro Moraes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Léo Vergílio. That made the score 0-9 in the 54 minute of play. Simão Secco kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Matías Catarinense took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Léo Vergílio. Léo Vergílio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-10. 61 minutes into the match, APOCALIPSE's goalkeeper Léo Vergílio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sandro Moraes. In the 63rd minute, Matías Catarinense ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Léo Vergílio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-11. With a little luck, APOCALIPSE's Léo Vergílio got control of the ball when Sandro Moraes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Léo Vergílio was a little too slow when Matías Catarinense got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 0-12. 74 minutes into the match, Sandro Moraes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Léo Vergílio, 0-13. After 77 minutes of play, Brunogenio's Sandro Moraes made it 0-14 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Léo Vergílio was left in no man's land by his defense there! 84 minutes into the match, Sandro Moraes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Léo Vergílio. APOCALIPSE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sandro Moraes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-15. A collision led to Brunogenio getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Teodoro Perez hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute, Brunogenio's Cristiano Rosado dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-16. The APOCALIPSE fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Brunogenio were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
