After a rather tough play, Real Mente Burro's Roberto Simão got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Cauã Lopes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Rosado, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Cauã Lopes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Rosado in the 9th minute of the match. If George Apelqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Teodoro Perez fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brunogenio's protests and gave Teodoro Perez a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th match minute, Brunogenio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Perez to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, George Apelqvist put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Abelardo Dionísio. Abelardo Dionísio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maurinho Mandrak in the 17th minute. If George Apelqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. Cauã Lopes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. During the 42nd minute of the match Teodoro Perez completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Teodoro Perez a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Real Mente Burro booed when Brunogenio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodoro Perez didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes into the match, George Apelqvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abelardo Dionísio. Brunogenio's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that George Apelqvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when George Apelqvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Real Mente Burro's Roberto Simão managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Thiago de Sena in the 67 minute of the game. If George Apelqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thiago de Sena kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. The supporters of Brunogenio booed when Real Mente Burro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oswald Winnepennincx didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matías Catarinense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The crowd rose to their feet as Brunogenio's Cléber Arce slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cauã Lopes. That made the score 3-3 after 96 minutes of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
