The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Genílson Sabóia's late challenge caught a APOCALIPSE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Genílson Sabóia helped the player get up and apologised. In the 7th minute, Genílson Sabóia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Basílio Guedes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Léo Vergílio. That made the score 2-0 in the 9 minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, APOCALIPSE's goalkeeper Léo Vergílio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ricardinho Dantas. Simão Secco kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Catete United FC's Genílson Sabóia dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. 19 minutes into the game, Catete United FC's Ricardinho Dantas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Léo Vergílio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. When Catete United FC's Ricardinho Dantas in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Zeca Souza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Léo Vergílio made a huge save. 34 minutes into the game, Ricardinho Dantas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Léo Vergílio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. APOCALIPSE's Léo Vergílio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save APOCALIPSE from getting a goal against them. Léo Vergílio was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Genílson Sabóia capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Genílson Sabóia really showed his touch with that goal: 8-0. 42 minutes into the game, Catete United FC's Zeca Souza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Léo Vergílio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. In the 48th minute Genílson Sabóia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Léo Vergílio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 9-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Diogo Quintal made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Catete United FC's Zeca Souza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Léo Vergílio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. In the 55th minute Ricardinho Dantas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Léo Vergílio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the game, Catete United FC's Genílson Sabóia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Léo Vergílio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-0. 63 minutes into the match, APOCALIPSE's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardinho Dantas came free, but Léo Vergílio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Léo Vergílio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Basílio Guedes went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 12-0 was the resulting score. 68 minutes into the match, Basílio Guedes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Léo Vergílio. APOCALIPSE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Basílio Guedes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 13-0. Ricardinho Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Léo Vergílio having to interfere. When Catete United FC's Ricardinho Dantas in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye APOCALIPSE's goalie prevented a goal. Zeca Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Léo Vergílio came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Catete United FC's Ricardinho Dantas. But to his dismay, Ricardinho Dantas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 14-0. Diogo Quintal kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After 88 minutes of play, Catete United FC's Genílson Sabóia made it 15-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Léo Vergílio was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeca Souza in the 94th minute of play forced APOCALIPSE's goalkeeper Léo Vergílio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute, Genílson Sabóia made a precise shot to the right of Léo Vergílio. APOCALIPSE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 16-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Catete United FC had played much better football throughout.
