When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Cléber Arce put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Lenílson de Barros. Cristiano Rosado received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lenílson de Barros came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristiano Rosado slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 6th minute. Lenílson de Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Rosado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cléber Arce who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Lenílson de Barros when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cléber Arce did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 5-0 to the left of a surprised Lenílson de Barros 28 minutes into the match. Cléber Arce took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lenílson de Barros. Lenílson de Barros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, Lenílson de Barros successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Cléber Arce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristiano Rosado in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lenílson de Barros saved APOCALIPSE from getting behind. 38 minutes into the match, APOCALIPSE's goalkeeper Lenílson de Barros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sandro Moraes. The Brunogenio fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when Brunogenio's Cristiano Rosado looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lenílson de Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Rosado in the 48th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cléber Arce stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cléber Arce struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Lenílson de Barros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brunogenio. Cléber Arce took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lenílson de Barros. Lenílson de Barros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Lenílson de Barros came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Brunogenio's Cristiano Rosado. But to his dismay, Cristiano Rosado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. Cléber Arce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lenílson de Barros having to interfere. Lenílson de Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodoro Perez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute, Simão Secco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute of the match Váldson Ramalho sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lenílson de Barros skillfully saved the ball. Diogo Quintal hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Váldson Ramalho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lenílson de Barros. APOCALIPSE's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. APOCALIPSE's Lenílson de Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cléber Arce in the 84th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Cléber Arce's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lenílson de Barros was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Manfredo Sousa was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 88 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute, one of APOCALIPSE:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for APOCALIPSE. After a defensive mix-up in APOCALIPSE's zone, Teodoro Perez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lenílson de Barros came out of the goal and Teodoro Perez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cléber Arce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Lenílson de Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 97th minute, Cléber Arce left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brunogenio fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. Brunogenio walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
