In the 40th minute, Motta Van Bastén left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jenny FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Ricardinho Borges was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 46 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Barruada SS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty! Dráuzio de Andrade went to the wrong direction when Motta Van Bastén was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Jenny FC's Wasyl Arbaszewski was substituted for Virgílio Paiva. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

Dráuzio de Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Motta Van Bastén in the 53rd minute of the match. Barruada SS's Dráuzio de Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Motta Van Bastén in the 55th minute of play. 57 minutes into the game, Juninho Cruz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barruada SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jenny FC the free kick. Barruada SS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wasyl Arbaszewski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Motta Van Bastén put it in 9-0 from a short distance just to the right of Dráuzio de Andrade. In the 86thth minute of the game Motta Van Bastén who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barruada SS's Dráuzio de Andrade was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dráuzio de Andrade stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Motta Van Bastén's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. After some careless play in the Barruada SS defense, Motta Van Bastén kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dráuzio de Andrade. The Barruada SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dráuzio de Andrade should have stopped the shot. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
