In the 7th minute, Jorge Dionísio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 8th minute Mario Kempes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vito Couto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 10 played minutes, Fronteira's Laércio Travassos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vito Couto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fronteira reached it. In the 14th minute Mai Hontoria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vito Couto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wesley Nogueira kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Jenny FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Kempes came free, but Vito Couto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 19 minutes, Mai Hontoria made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Jenny FC's Vito Couto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wasyl Arbaszewski got free with Bartosz Skikiewicz in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vito Couto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mai Hontoria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th match minute, Jenny FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wasyl Arbaszewski to maneuver through the defense. After 35 played minutes Fronteira got a freekick which was hit by Mai Hontoria. Bartosz Skikiewicz made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Wasyl Arbaszewski sent off a good shot on target. Fronteira's Bartosz Skikiewicz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Fronteira from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Fronteira booed when Jenny FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sture Blomkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Laércio Travassos came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Fronteira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laércio Travassos couldn't finish the play. In the 43rd match minute, Jenny FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Motta Van Bastén to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Mai Hontoria's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vito Couto was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Jenny FC made a substitution. Edgar Domala replaced Wasyl Arbaszewski. The wind increased when Mai Hontoria made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Domala in the 56th minute of play forced Fronteira's goalkeeper Bartosz Skikiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The long shot by Laércio Travassos in the 58th minute really tested Vito Couto's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The supporters of Fronteira booed when Jenny FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgílio Paiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vito Couto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Kempes in the 66th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgar Domala in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bartosz Skikiewicz saved Fronteira from getting behind. 68 minutes into the match, Jenny FC's goal looked a bit too open when Laércio Travassos came free, but Vito Couto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bartosz Skikiewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Domala in the 73rd minute of the match. Mai Hontoria's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 74thth minute, Vito Couto skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laércio Travassos in the 76th minute of play forced Jenny FC's goalkeeper Vito Couto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Jenny FC's goal looked a bit too open when Laércio Travassos came free, but Vito Couto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fronteira made a substitution. Oswaldo Paes replaced Mario Kempes. In the 82nd minute, Virgílio Paiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jenny FC's Vito Couto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oswaldo Paes in the 96th minute of play. Bartosz Skikiewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Motta Van Bastén, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Fronteira's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
