In the 78th minute, Leon Sport Club's João Augusto Costa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Carlos Manuel Lavandero might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Clóvis Reis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The supporters of GLocos do Cerrado FC booed when Leon Sport Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position.
