The audience was convinced that Enio Azevedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Franklin Bittencourt was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Vasco FC's Zé Carlos Mazza got a free kick in the 43rd minute. If Aan 典韦 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Franklin Bittencourt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enio Azevedo in the 55th minute of the match. Edmílson Veloso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Vasco FC's Matheus Amaral got a free kick in the 57th minute. Edmílson Veloso took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Franklin Bittencourt. Vasco FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Raphael Veiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diamantino Arruda having to interfere. When Geovânio Oliveira fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sosoco FC's protests and gave Geovânio Oliveira a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Vasco FC booed when Sosoco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geovânio Oliveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Geovanni Soeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Vasco FC's Wanderson Urbano tried to score from far away in the 65th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Raphael Veiga received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Diamantino Arruda came out and tried to block the shot, but Raphael Veiga slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 67th minute. In the 71st minute, 陆朋超 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute, Raphael Veiga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Diamantino Arruda was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Through an outstanding action, after 82 minutes, Diamantino Arruda successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Diamantino Arruda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aan 典韦 went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. With an all-out effort, Vasco FC's Diamantino Arruda threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aan 典韦, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Edmílson Veloso put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of Franklin Bittencourt.
