Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo José Loyola in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eriberto Neiva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Betinho Carioca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eriberto Neiva read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. After having played for 40 minutes, Carlos Manuel Lavandero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GLocos do Cerrado FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Manuel Lavandero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eriberto Neiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elano Martins in the 54th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Marcelo Alagoano took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Eriberto Neiva to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulo José Loyola got free with Eriberto Neiva in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 64 minutes into the match, Betinho Carioca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eriberto Neiva. Vasco IB's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Betinho Carioca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. A throw-in in the 71st minute of the game was made by Dagoberto Braga with Ademar Moura as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Vasco IB's Eriberto Neiva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Vasco IB from getting a goal against them. That made the score 0-7 after 83 minutes of play. In the 86th minute Elano Martins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Neiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vasco IB's Eriberto Neiva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Vasco IB from getting a goal against them.
